You Don't Know What It Feels Like EP

Adam commissioned me to create cover artwork for two singles & his latest EP release. Adam’s music is hugely influenced by 70’s and 80’s sounds, with a mix of modern hooks, blended with various genres. So it was really important to capture a perfect balance of visual influences to match his eclectic style.
Adam came to me with a general concept for the EP cover; a shop filled with items to represent each song. After delving into the lyrics of each song, and creating lots of illustrations to choose from, we were able to uncover the essence of each song in a recognisable visual.
In our original moodboards, we spoke a lot about Wes Anderson and his ability to focus in on specific shots and important areas of a scene. Whilst also referencing the striking colour palettes from the likes of Bruno Mars and disco culture.
